  • Rifle shafts?

Can somebody give a little info on these please?

I'm looking into a new set of irons soon and hitting what I can. Have played with regular flex ( steel ) since I've been playing but hit a few with a buddy who had the x12's with a firm flex ( graphite ) and was pretty impressed.

What is the difference with the rifle shaft's? I was watching a set on Ebay and the had a 5.0 rifle with a regular flex, so what would the difference be between these and a regular steel shaft? I see they have like a 5.0, 6.0 and such with different flex's, just wondering what the difference was?
    Thx

The technical details can be found at the following site:

    www.royalprecision.com/

Basically the higher the number the stiffer the shaft and roughly speaking a 5 is regular a 6 is stiff.

I have them in my irons and they look pretty cool too!

And the nice thing about buying a matched set of rifles is that they're often frequency matched so they'll play the same flex in all your clubs.
