    What clubs to buy!! :s

    I am wanting to upgrade myself to a new set of irons. I am currently playing with some old slazenger XTC's that are offset, cavity back and have graphite shafts.

    I have been pondering some new Mizuno's that are steel shafted, cut muscle design and have no offset (Mizuno Mp-33)

    These as you can see are a big change in what i have used for over a year and wonder what the best clubs would be for me?

    I'd say it largely depends on how you're ballstriking is, and what you're looking for.

    You're completely and totally switching feel here. Going from offset to no offset, cav's to undercuts, and graphite to steel.

    If you buy them be prepared to learn how to hit them. If your swing is sound, but you're hooking the ball, less (or no) offsets sounds good. The steel shafts will make for heavier clubs (maybe good, maybe not, depending on how the other clubs feel).

    And the undercuts will provide the sweetest flight, provided you hit the sweetspot. Be prepared for yardage loss on off-center hits.

      Whatever you get it will be differnt and you may find that you sice redily due to the offset in the prior ones. Just remember this

        Thanks that is some good advice. I think that the best thing to do is to try a few types and see which i will get the full potential out of. Their is no point rushing into something because i am impatient when it will stick with me probably for the rest of my golfing life.

          Mizuno MP30's are some fine sticks. I have used them for about a year and they are by far the best irons I have ever owned.
