Hi,
I used to be able to hit this club very well, better than any other in my bag. Now, it is the only club I cannot hit decently. I hit my irons and drivers fairly straight, but every hit with the 3H results in a severe pull and hook. It's almost as if the ball would do a corkscrew if it had enough altitude.
I think it has to do with how I address the ball with the club. The club just doesn't "feel" right in my hands when I address the ball squarely, and I naturally address the ball with the clubface quite closed (which would explain the hook). My question is, does this club have a natural draw bias or is it designed like the Taylormade R5 D with a slightly closed face? Or am I just addressing the ball incorrectly with the club?
Thanks,
B
