Most Forged blades get you this. The cavity-back will generally have higher launch angles.

I have the Norman Cobra blades that Greg Norman played in the 90's. He was spinning the ball so much (much to do with the ball spin rates back then too) but he created a blade that had a lot of weight in the top to help keep it lower.

I love them.

I agree with Greg,

You clearly have no problem hitting the ball seek out a better players club, blades and lesser forgiving woods,tour preffered etc, stiffer shafts lower trajectory too.

Personally I use the Taylormade RAC LT 2 (LT is low trajectory)

Nice to see you all here and still enjoying this great game,

I was practicing today on our putting green at my golf club and an old friend of mine started setting up to practice next to me. I was fascinated by the way he set out his practice routine and watched in amazement at the regularity of how he holed out over 10 foot, he would putt without missing the hole until he could not get another ball in the hole because he filled it up.

I then checked out the set up and have now developed my putting around this one routine.
I have put the photos and small mpeg on my ftp hope you can see how it is done with practice and repetition you will no doubt be a better putter given just a small amount of time.

You will see that the pegs laid out, are about 5 inches in front of the putter face, they are the exact same distance apart as the putter head.

You will at first hit the pegs left or right but with a smooth accelerated stroke you will glide through impact of the golf ball and on through the centre of the pegs and will sink the putt near each time, that is if you have given it the right pace to reach the hole.

Cliff, not sure what your post has to do with the thread. Looks like a good thread on it's own. Can you start a seperate thread for your post?

Darren, what type of irons are you using right now? As Greg said, try a forged blade with a bit stiffer shaft. But remember, and I know you don't want to hear this from your comments in you post, but no set of clubs will fix a swing problem. If everything else is fine with your game other than too much height, you would have very little to work on.

Curiously, I went from cavity backs to blades (MP-32's) this year, and my height on my irons, which was already high with the cavity backs, has gone to soaring with the blades.

Not that it's a bad thing, just an observation.

The shafts will play a large part in the ball flight as well. If you want a lower ball flight, get shafts with a high flex point.

What shaft differences were there? Look there first.
