I've had my eyeballs locked onto one of those very bags. Where did you purchase it from and can you add some more detail about it?

One of the great things is that it is supposed to be equally equipped to walk and ride. One of the problems I have had is that my current bag does not sit well on my three wheel trolley because the stand up legs raise it too high. Would that bag work okay sitting on the trolley?

I think I saw them priced at around $159. Is that right or do you know of any deals?

It weighs 7.4 pounds, it is comfortable to carry with the padded strap, although I tend to use a trolley. The "zip away" extendable legs are quality if you want to use a trolley or cart, because it ensures that they do not get damaged or interfere with the bag as you're pulling it along.

As I got mine in the UK I paid #119 UK Pounds Sterling, but I've seen it HERE: http://www.budgetgolf.net/xcart/cata...G-p-19355.html for $109....

I got mine in Blue/Black... the extra space compared to the Hoofer Lite is very noticeable... I can now fit in my waterproof jacket and a decent sized flask of tea for the bitterly cold weather we're currently experiencing.

As for fitting it onto a 3 wheeled cart, I dont see there would be a problem, as I use a 2 wheel cart and find the legs do not interfere, there is neoprene "hood" protecting the top of the legs from the cart. (again this is because they are zipped away, so will not extend.) My suggestion is you get hold of your local stockist and ask for some advice on this.

I took my bag to the local driving range here and the guys in the shop were all admiring it, and the manager was even thinking about stocking them too!

I'll try to take some pics when I get home this evening and post them up here!

One other thing about the bag I really love is the fact there are 2 nadles on 1 side at the top and bottom to make loading it in and removing it from your car is no hassle at all.

saw 2 on ebay about $160

7.5 is heavy though, can anybody rec: a lighter bag 3.5 or so pounds.

Look at the Ping Hoofer Lite... about 4lbs.

The reason I went FROM a Ping Hoofer Lite to the Sun Mountain MPB was because I wanted full dividers for my clubs, and most light bags can't really take a full set of clubs without . As I (usually) use a cart, weight was not an issue... the fact my clubs were getting tangled inside the bag was.

I've got one of these and it is on the heavy side, also the putter 'tube' digs in your back a bit when carrying. The straps are messy too and get in the way on cart, I have to tuck mine behind the putter tube to stop them dragging in the mud.

The bag is not that great on a cart either, the leg opening contraption means you have to put it on a cart sideways - meaning one complete side of pockets in trapped against the trolley (as we call them in UK) and hard to get into

I had an IZZO cart/carry bag before and it was really light and easy to use, the Sun Mountain is well made but badly designed (IMHO)

The only plus is the 14 way divider. One other thing, the carry handle is also located on the side which makes it a pain to lift in and out of the car.

You may have guessed already but, I don't like the bag much and wish I hadn't bought it. It was bloody expensive too!

I have had my Pink K56 for a couple years now, and i love it to pieces. Once golf starts in school and i have to switch to the school bag, they are so much heavier and less organized. I think the K56 is one of the best overall bags made.

It really depends on what you're looking for... 14 separate dividers?... more carrying space? weight?....

If you buy a new bag at a shop, ask to fill it up with a set of clubs similar to yours and you can then feel the whole weight...

IMO the difference between weight of bags is also unnoticeable if its filled with clubs/balls/tees/rainwear/drink etc anyway, unless you buy a beast of a bag

I just leave the legs zipped up and put it on the cart with the putter tube facing forward... it's fairly sturdy.
