    I say, I don't want to be penalized for not finding the sweetspot. This is the difference between being on the green, and having a 15 yard chip.
    For sure, thats what I was told about blades yesterday. And even though Im around a 10 handicapper (im 18) dont you think that 500 (canadian...which is around 450 american) is a deal for good condition rac mb irons? The main reason I wanna buy em is because i know that since I practice ALOT ill get better and in the next couple years theyll be perfect for me...

      The PGA value guide (http://valueguide.pga.com) has RAC MB's at a high of $369, mid at $356, and a low price of $322, all USD.

      So I'd say it's a good price, but certainly above what the market is currently showing.

      FWIW, the high price is about $410 CAD.

        you cant find them cheaper on ebay so its a deal, my philosophy anyways

          Yeah I looked at Ebay and the ones I want are 989 canadian. So 500 seems like a pretty good deal. But like if I wanted to trade mine in does that mean id probably only get like 369 in cash? or would i get more in terms of credit towards the store i trade with?

              I think you would find that your ball striking would improve considerably if you were using blades because you need to hit the sweetspot. I know that when I was using blades that I was a much more consistant ball striker. I now use an OLD Titleist set of forged irons with a very small head and thin cavity, because my long irons (3, 4 & 5) were too inconsistant with blades. I am now making a combo set so I will have the best of both worlds.

                I thought the same thing, too. I played a combo set last year. The thing that happened for me was that I couldn't get consistent yardages out of my clubs hence the switch to the 600XC's.

                  Actually those RAC's are available in a mixed set, I think its 3-5 as cavity, the rest blade/MB...
                  might be worth a look if you are worried about it.
                  thats said you can probably pick an old set of blades for much cheaper try them for a month or so and then trade them in

                    Yeah thats what Im planning on doing man. Cause like If i do decide to trade em in ill probably get in around 500 anyway in terms of a store credit towards new clubs.

                      Sup guys, just wanted to let you know that I finally got my Taylormade RAC mbs and I must say they are awesome. They give feel and workability, especially if you enjoy trying to move it right to left or left to right. I shoot in the high 70s low 80s and when I told some people this they said I shouldnt buy these irons due to the difficulty to hit, but I really have not struggled at all. In fact I have been using my 3 iron blade consistantly and it feels great. But i must say if you dont catch it good it hurts. lol.
