  • rescue loft

ok im about to buy a taylormade rescue dual. I can hit a 3 iron fairly confidently off the deck but sometimes ill duff it or hit a bit of a fade. Im getting a 3 wood to replace my 5 wood, so do you think i should get a 16 or 16 degree rescue. I could do with a fairly fast answer so any one who answers i thank in advance. Ash.

    Re: rescue loft

    Hi Ashley,

For a higher h/capper my advice would be to get a 15/16 degree 3 wood, which will be on the weaker side for a 3 leaving you with a gap from your 3 iron which should be about 20 degrees, if you are going to loose your 3 iron too then go for a 19 degree rescue which should be a good compromise.

    Your should have then

    4 iron 23 degrees rescue 19 degrees
    3 wood 15 degrees

    Hope this is quick enough.

    Ian.
