  • Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue 65S Shaft.

    Hi all.
I have a Grafalloy Prolaunch blue 65S shaft in my driver. The head is a forgan 460 10 degrees(i think) of loft. Has anyone got any tips on using this driver. My drives tend to slice a lot more than a stiffer steel shafted driver. I wondered if there was anything i should be doing different given the flexibility and high launch angle its giving me. Don't know my stats but i'm average swing speed, and normally use a low tee'd ball to try to compensate for the high launch. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers guys!!

    hi
the new 460 cc drivers need to be tee'd up high. its to to with the weigh in the sole and the sweet spot on the club, i use to hit of a normal tee and was all over the place with my new 460cc, i got some of them 4 inch tee's and it was amazing the diffrence. the middle off the ball should just be below the top of the driver with the base of the driver on the grass.
try and an see the diffrence, only cost you a few long tee's.

      Check out this link. http://www.golf-tuition-online.com/g...highlight=high

There's a good discussion on teeing it high there.

This is interesting. I use a prolaunch 65R in my Ping G5 and spray the ball all over the place

I use those white "castle" tees. Would you say those tees are too short? How much does this really affect sidespin?

hi i use to use the same tees and i did same not 3 shots went the same way, i went to the big 4 inch tees and could not belive the diffrence it made, with the 460 drivers you need it tee'd high.
