  • New Titleist Pro V1

I understand Titleist are bringing a new ball out(released March in the UK but presume its out already in US). Have any of you guys in America tried it yet? I can't imagine the ball getting any better than it already is.

Havent tried the new pro v 1 but i have heard that the taylor made ball is hugely good. couple of guys i know have switched and say its very long and very good round the greens although it is also meant to be a little easier to scratch.

I've only use the Taylormade red and they cut up very easily. I haven't tried the tp black yet but apparently they are much better.

I play nothing but Pro-V1's just a matter of personal preference, I honestly have not noticed any difference at all between last years' ball and the new ones.

I carry both the 1s and the 1xs. I do notice that the 1xs tend to fly a bit lower than before. The 1s are still as solid as ever.

They do have the AIM sidestamp which is cool for lining up putts.

The TM Reds and Blacks replaced the Maxfi Black Max series of balls. I really liked the Black Max balls. They were $32.99 for awhile and I felt they were as solid as Pro V1s.
