    Guys,

I usually use regular shafts but I recently bought a Cleveland Hibore Driver with a Stiff Shaft and I hit it pretty good. I usually hit my 8 iron about 150 yards with regular shaft. Should I consider moving to a Stiff shaft in my irons? I' 45 years old, 200 Lbs, 5 Feet 10 in good shape.

I'm about the same and I use a stiff flex -the regular flex is too whippy for me and the manufacturers don't exactly agree on what is "regular" Some of the factors to consider is your swing speed, and how aggressively you swing the club. A more aggressive swing would warrent a stiffer flex.

I'm still a believer in ridiculously stiff shafts in your clubs. Granted, if you're flippy or scoopy, I don't know that stiffer is necessarily better.
