    Re: cart bags

I have just bought a Griplok bag. It keeps the clubs tight in postion without them rattling around. It has definately improved my enjoyment of golf. Lots of pockets etc.

        hi robin
after my round on saturday (my 3rd in a week) i decided that i needed a trolley rather than a carry bag (sore knees and back can become tedious) so i went to my local golf discount store to have a look around.
the guy showed me a couple of models one a bit cheap and the other a powakaddy. when all done and dusted the powakaddy plus bag and accessories came to £450! end of shopping trip.
even though trollies off the internet generally get bad press i decided to have a look at ebay, came accross an outfit called europrotrolleys and by a fluke saw that a member of my club had left feedback after his purchase of a trolley.
i sent him an email enquiring about the seller and the trolley and he replied that both were top notch, he had the trolley 12 months and not one problem, better than the motokaddy he had previously!
it has a 200w motor, electronic distance control, card, ball, tee and bottle holder 33amp (36 hole) battery, trickle charger and storage bag 12 months warranty all for £157 delivered to my door!
seen a bag for £45 quid so i reckon ive saved a good 200 quid!

I'm so jealous! Been wanting one for ages, but is JUST a little hard to justify to the missus at the moment! When is your new arrival due?

Bags - I actually really rate Skymax stuff - it has an unjustified reputation (IMHO) for being budget, when, like MD Golf, etc, it's great kit for which you're not paying advertising guff.

I have the XPS (I won it on Captain's Day ) - cooler pocket, magnetic pockets, oodles of storage. I like and rate! On the down side (up side?) there are no flash, ostentatious logo's on it

            hi dog
i couldnt justify the £450 for the powakaddy!

played 18 at heaton park tonight, if ever a course was made for trollies then thats it

I purchased a Bag Boy Revolver this year. Love it. 14 individual compartments that go from top all the way down. Shafts/grips never touch each other. The entire top revolves allowing easy access to all clubs.

I have this same bag............its awsome. I was tired of digging around in my bag for clubs and tired of them clanging around . This bag solved both problems. There is an advertisment on this site for a similiar bag for 119.00.

                  Re: cart bags

Another vote for the NXO Revolver. BagBoy bought out Proline (or at least the rights to the GripLok Technology).

The first bag I ever bought (beyond the cheap one that came with my starter kit) was a ProLine GripLok. I was the quietest golfer on the course (no clubs banging - ever).

Granted, I don't think they're good as carry bags (the first one the top part came apart and a strap was working the threads loose, the second one the threads actually gave halfway through a round and I completely blew a strap... at this point I moved to Ogio).

But for cart bags, the NXO is the bee's knees. I recommended one to my mother and she's in absolute love with it. It's the one I'd get if I was to use a cart.
