    CaddyGuy,

I made one out of PVC pipe for less than 10.00. $80.00 is a little steep for pvc pipe. As far as does it work, it keeps the club head low coming into the impact area. It doesn't work well for wedges.

I think a properly setup swing station works better. I'll detail it if you want.

        CaddyGuy,

Attached is a design sketch of some portable mirrors and a alignment aid.

I make the mirrors from PVC pipe, a cheap mirror, 4 lag bolts, Wide pinstriping tape and a can of low expansion foam. Use the pin striping tape to put down the mirror to see if your head is moving or your body is swaying excessively. See drawing for detail, zoom in it's small, I cut and pasted it off my master sheet. The message says it's too big, I'll post it in the Picture and Video section!

I use 2 of these mirrors, one for face on and one down the line. You can see errors in realtime. Combine this with video and you can make swing changes quickly. Roughly 80% of learning comes through the eye. If you can see the correct motion you can get a better feel for what is right.

The alignment tool is 1" Pvc, 1/2" pvc and 2 lag bolts. Put this behind your heels and the 1/2" toward the ball, see where the ball is in your stance in relationship to feet that are on the target line. It will be a revelation to most.

I have others but these are the most effective for a station.

        Hope this helps,

        GolfBald
