Quote of the month:
"It's easy to see golf not as a game at all but as some whey-faced, nineteenth-century Presbyterian minister's fever dream of exorcism achieved through ritual and self-mortification." ~Bruce McCall
I think the rules for long drive should conform with USGA rules (at least in North America) which is 48". It would make it much more interesting and regular long ball hitters would only need one driver. I know if the rules were similar I would definitely be competing. If I really rip at the ball I can get 315 - 330 with a 45" driver so I think I could be competative with most out there on the circuit if they used the same length of driver.
