Hi, i'm new to this forum and have joined in the hope that i can get a full understanding of the mechanics of the golf swing, having read so much about it and finding so much conflicting or irelevant advice. I feel that i'm very close to cracking it - just a few finishing touches and visualisation techniques to go. Looking forward very much to conversing.

Re: Sifting Through all the Advice
Welcome Sir, plenty of good advice here.
Sadly when it comes to cracking golf's secrets I'm alway reminded of Palmerston's view on the Schleswig-Holstein Question.
"Only three people understood the Schleswig-Holstein Question. The first was Albert, the Prince consort and he is dead; the second is a German professor, and he is in an asylum: and the third was myself - and I have forgotten it."
Actually I only mention that in order to provide a historian's perspective to counter some of the engineering and scientific advice that I never understand. Just walk up and toink it is my advice,.
