Hello to the GTO Community,
Another new member here looking to improve my game. I first picked up golf about 15 years ago with a group of friends from work. Life then got in the way (career, marriage, kids, etc.) and I was only able to play about once a year. Within the past year I started to have the opportunity to play more often and therefore have rekindled the desire to improve.
I felt my game was coming around. Still not enough time to practice religiously, but I thought I was hitting it ok (good enough to post my all time best score). Putting and chipping were still a bit of an issue, but I was optimistic.
Well, last night I had a video swing analysis done and good god (!) what in the world was that on the screen. After adjusting my setup big time, balls were flying all over the place. Hide the women and children. Is it possible to break one of those machines? I'm now afraid to go to the range for fear I will injure someone!
So that's my story of how I got here and the beginning of my quest to become a better golfer. We'll see where this journey takes me . . .
