I just want to say hello to everyone.
I've been golfing for about 50 years and am 68 years old. In the early years, I used to be wracked with pain after I finished a round. I thought that was normal. Needles to say, I was also very wild and inconsistent. I belonged to many golf courses through the years of moving about due to my job and have had the opportunity to play a lot of great courses. After all the years of trying this and that and studying the game, being a golf junky, I am playing better than ever. Of course, this is offset by age and health factors. If only I knew then, what I know now.
I tumbled on this forum, while researching Dante's early wrist break principle. There was a hit to a discussion regarding his principle here.
It's funny, I've done the early wrist break technique for many years, whenever my game went out of whack. I did not realize it had the history, until I came across that detail recently. For some reason, my ball striking would instantly improve. I don't know really why I don't stick with it. Oh well, I suppose I figure there is always something better, as according to Golf Digest, the gurus, et al suck me in.
