Help!, my golf swing needs help. It seems that I am fine during my practice routine, but when it comes time to actually hit the ball I have a outside to inside swing pattern. My divots are fine during my practice swing but after I hit, my divots point out that i am messed up. A definite coming accross the ball pattern divot.....any helpful ideas?

Re: Looking for a quick fix....
Sounds like you are trying to add extra power when you are on the course, and you are doing it from the top first. This will cause the out-to-in path. Relax like you are on the range. The ball will go the same distance and trust that you have the right club. If you need more distance...take a longer club, don't swing harder.

Yep. Like Greg says. If it helps, when you are on the driving range start by hitting some balls in slow motion. It will feel goofy but try to hit balls forward starting at about 10% of your maximum swing then increase your power.
Think, okay that was 10% now I'm going to do 20%. You will be surprised when you get to about 50% the balls will be going basically to your perceived maximum distance anyway.
On the course this may help. Good luck.
Tim.
