    Stack and tilt

    HI all,

    New here, new to golf. This was my first season. Just toward the end of the season I came across a stack and tilt swing video. Wondering if anyone here practices that swing. It has done wonders for my swing.

    There were other threads which had good discussions on S&T. Use the Search function in the above toolbar.

        Good luck with it. I too found some late season success using the Stack and Tilt method when hitting my irons. I did not see the DVD. I concentrated on my weight staying over my left leg (RH) throughout my swing.

          Braveheart,

          I did buy the dvd set. I have not really spent any $ on gadgets ans such so i figured I'd treat myself. Great instructional dvd. They really do a nice job teaching fundementals.

            Hmm. Perhaps, I will see if anyone is selling a used set of DVD's over the winter. Thanks for the feedback.

              I have tried the swing based solely on the golf digest article. The short answer is that it works, but I am not sure I am doing it right. I haven't seen the video yet but I understand there were tons more that the golf digest articles missed out - one of which is the flying wedge.
              In the meantime, my irons are superb but I am inconsistent w the driver. Some days I score in the low 80s (which is good for me) some days I score in the high 80s.

                the best way to get help is to either reply to one of the other threads you have seen, or, feel free to start your own! More people will see it in the "golf instruction" section for example so you will get more discussion.

                  thanks for the tip! actually many of the issues that i have with the S&T has been covered by those who came before me. so sometimes i am concerned that i'd be going over old ground and get someone's goat he he.
                  no just kidding, glad to be here.

                  back to the s&t, Shawn Clemshaw has several videos on youtube. he is not S&T but some of the things he shows (very well btw) are solid.
