Hi. I'm new to golftuitiononline. The things that are exercising me at the moment are what exercises are optimal for improving my rotation (lack of flexibility is an issue for my swing), and whether I should swap my Titleist AP2 pitching wedge for a Vokey 48 degree wedge. I currently carry 52, 56 and 60 degree Vokeys alongside 4-P in the AP2s.

Hello and welcome.
Regarding exercises for rotation, go to this thread and ask the question:

Why have you considered swapping your PW?

Re: New member first message
Hi Brian. Thanks for the exercise tip. Reason for considering PW swap is that I wonder if it is better to have the same weight head in PW as in my other three wedges. I tend to play more 3/4 shots with the PW as I do for the toerh wedges, so thought I might benefit from having all of them as Vokeys rather than the PW wihch is an AP2. Flip-side of course is that the Pw matches the otehr irons (I carry 4-PW AP2s at present).

Yes I see what you mean. I have three Mizuno MP R wedges but my pitching wedge is from my Mizuno iron set. I have not found a problem with this though, I guess you have to start somewhere unless you have a complete set of muscle-backs

I have thinking the same exact thing! I have Cleveland Wedges right now (47, 56, and 60). I am looking at getting new Mizuno Irons. So I am toying with replacing my Clevelands with Mizuno Wedges. We shall see what happens. Let me know what you decide and the outcome.
Oh and welcome to the board!

Hi,
I wonder if it's necessary, unless you're trying to match up the shafts. But with wedge shafts there is not a lot of difference. They are wedge flex and specs.
Regarding the heads, there are probably as many pros playing a set of X20, R7, Mizuno, etc irons with a set of Cleveland wedges, as there are who have the iron set matching with the same make of wedges. Matter of fact, many of the wedges, whether Cleveland's or the iron set maker's are ground and bent to the players' preference.
I guess I'm saying Cleveland's or Titleist (Vokey) wedges are great equipment. Likely, Tiger for one, had them in his bag before he signed with Nike, or perhaps until Nike came up with prototypes customed for him.
