    New GTO Member looking for locals

    Hello,
    Just joined GTO and was curious to see if any one else from the San Francisco Bay Area is registered here as well? There are many great courses here and the beauty is that within a 1 hr drive, you can get to almost all of them.

    I came across another social golf site thats focused on the San Francisco Bay Area. The site is www.bayareagolflinks.com. Check it out. Its new but I joined that one too. Looking to meet more local golfers.

    Hey mate,

    You ever played Olympic?

    Looks well tough from the highlights reels!

    I'm in England so the best we've got are the old links courses.

      I was in England about 7 years ago (before we started having kids). I had every intention to go see and hopefully play St Andrews, but never got around to it. Little too far of a drive.

      I haven't played Olympic yet but I did play Pebble with my dad. Great time, rained hard for 3-4 holes then cleared up for a great back 9.
