Howdy All;
I'm new to this forum but not new to the struggles of mastering the golf swing. My relationship with golf has been on and off for over 40 years. I am currently in the return mode.
This time I decided several things before coming back to golf.
As I had been thinking of getting back into golf for some time, the process of changing my attitude about my golf game was in process. I indeed want to enjoy golf so that takes care of items one and two, although one will be just as much of an on-going process as the golf swing is.
Three and four are done, five has been started and hopefully six is a done deal once I post this thread.

This time I decided several things before coming back to golf.
- My attitude needed to change, no temper tantrums, no getting down on myself, just learn from those swings that did not produce the intended shot and enjoy and reinforce those swings that did produce the shot I visualized.
- Enjoy golf, have fun, focus on good swings, learn from the miss-swings.
- Get a golf coach before purchasing my equipment
- Purchase equipment that fit me (6'4" - 260lbs)
- Begin my quest for the best swing possible by starting with my grip and work from there.
- Find a great internet community to be a part of
