I had lessons about 15 years ago by a golf professional after I had an episode of shanking. This professional instructed me in the Ernest Jones technique and I purchased a number of his books. I did great for a long time, with my handicap down to 3, but now things seem to have changed and I think I've become too introspective of my swing and forgot some of the Jones teachings.
My main question has to do with the downswing. I think I was taught that the left hand and arm brings the club to the ball with the right hand only supporting. Others say to hold an angle with the right wrist. What is right?
