  • The worst slice ever

I have been playing for about 12 years now and have always had a terrible slice . Quite regularly the divot i leave points just left of my left foot , i also seem to hit down into the ball as opposed to through it,
    any advice appreciated

Do the 3 to 9 drill.

Take the club back to 3 o'clock. Stop. The toe of the club should be straight up in the air. You allow the arms to rotate open as you take the club back to get it in this position. You down roll your wrists, but you allow the arms to rotate back with your chest.

The take the club through impact and to 9 o'clock. The toe should be again straight up in the air. Same rotation takes place but in reverse.

This will get your blade square and stop any unneeded activity to manipulate the club through impact.

Then once you master this feeling, taking the club the rest of the way is nothing more then adding time to the clocks both back and through.
