    Re: Stableford

    Hi Ian,

    This should help.

Stableford - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There are "modified" Stablefords used by some clubs and for special events, so make sure that is not the case.

Here's another website. Look near the bottom and there is a link to how to keep your scorecard.

        Re: Stableford

Being new and having now worked out my Stableford points on a handicap of 28, recording points of 38, how do I now work out what handicap I have played to?

          Re: Stableford

Easiest and quickest way to do it (although can be susceptable to a one or two shot error sometimes - doesn't take into caccount blow-up holes) is that 36 points = bang on your handicap for the day. 37 points = one under h'cap, 38 = 2 under h'cap etc etc.
