    First Post Jitters

    Well this is my first post....just wanted to say this site seems very interesting and a great way to talk golf while I'm slacking off at work.

    About me: My dad has always been a very good amateur in the state (NJ)...so about two years ago I finally picked up on it and got the bug. I'm about an 11 handicap right now...on the verge of breaking 80 every time I play but somehow I ALWAYS mess up the last hole. I hit it very long, need a ton of work on the short game....heading over to golfsmith for phil mickelson's book on short game tonight.....

    Welcome to the site. Sounds like you are progressing well, that last hole probably needs a different mindset, try to believe you will birdy it and maybe you will

      Thanks for the post and good call ... the more I practice golf the more I realize what a head game it all is
