In the 'posture' section of lessons on this site, PGAPRO says a good drill to achieve ideal posture is to start with the back straight and the club held parallel to the ground. This creates a 90 degree angle between the back and the club. Then he says to bend from the hips, maintaining this angle until the club touches the ground. This means, in my view that the right angle should be maintained, but this is clearly not the case. It looks like it becomes 110 degrees. Please advise? I am trying to improve but this really confuses me. I would appreciate expert advice only. Lord knows I have enough confusion without hackers adding to it. Thanks

Re: Posture
Hi Helena,
Here is a video of Shawn Clements, which shows the posture. You will note a common feature of recommended golf posture is that the club shaft points about belly button high, but also a couple of inches to the front of the belly button.
You would be interested in reading the comments of viewers as well. Shawn is one of the respected instructors, frequently referenced on this forum. I recommend you look at his archive of videos available through the same page.
