You could consider buying the Tour Striker training club. Google it and see what you think. I have one and it cured my problem with hitting it fat. It`s a fantastic training aid and the customer service is second to none. And...I`m not on commission!
I`m sure LowPost wasn`t being sarcastic when he said hit in front of the ball. This is what the Tour Striker teaches you to do. Your divot should be in front of the ball, just like he says.Last edited by arny660; 06-16-2009, 09:09 PM.Comment

some peoples kids...
Get a 2x4 and place it 4" behind your ball. It's the cheap version of the Tour Striker. It also doubles as an inside approach when placed 2" beside your ball (your ball is between you and the board).
You need to hit the little ball (golf ball) before the big ball (earth).
I was being completely serious, amigo, when I said hit in front of it.
Another drill that's fantastic is to put a tee in the ground 2" in front of your ball, then swing to hit your ball and take out the tee.
Who's the other golfer from Canada? Surely you don't mean Stephen Ames (a native of Trinidad) or Mike Weir who lives in Utah?Comment
