You know the Rapture 6i has the same loft as your current 5i (or more)?

The real test is, loft for loft - how's it hit?


The other clubhead I've looked at for a heavy belly/broomstick putter is the MentorSports Quadra II (http://www.mentorsportstech.com/vmoi...els&modelid=q2) - 363g raw weight, but you can add a whopping 440g to push it to over 800g!

I've got one lying around here, but it may be easier (cheaper?) to buy a belly putter and add the center-shaft adapter on a quadra LH.

you might want to try how i have my set up, it a center mounted shaft that if you take it up your right arm your middle fingertip is on the tip of the bottom grip in the midded of the shaft and it lines up middle of your right arm, the head is only a few inches to the right of your right foot same as your hand id from your lower hip.
most putter's, the shaft angle would put it out almost a foot from your right foot so your arm has to leave your body more.
i think the more you move your arm out to the side the more room for error.
having your arm close to your side so its almost touching you bring the putter head back on line every time. and as there is no wrist turn the club face stays the same all through the swing.
my lefe hand is on the top of my putter and against my right shoulder.
if your left had is inside your right the you will get some opening of the face on a long putt.
try it and you will see what i mean. if you hold the putter against your right arm at the elbow or higher then you get a much better swing with your right arm.
my shaft is 54 " and really thick. thicker than a driver at the top and stays thick a long way down. i think if you used a standard shaft in a long broomhandle it would flex to much. but you know more about that side of things that i do.

Well, I stole a Yes! Natalie from rockbottom golf for an insanely low price - center shafted and I bent the lie to 80 degrees (the legal limit).

Bill or John, can you take some pictures of yourself at address? I played 18 with the Natalie today (a balmy 11C here in Northern Ontario!) and I found that my pace was a little off but the line was generally good - however every now and then I'd pull one.

I stand with my feet parallel to my target line (ie where I want to start the ball) and the ball just a little ahead of my toes.

I'm interested to hear about ball position, lower hand grip (overhand? underhand? between the fingers?) pics if you got 'em!

I really think this could be something - the only downer is how do you fly with your clubs with a 52" putter?!
