I signed up yesterday in the hopes of discussing some real issues that I am having with my swing. I thought that a bunch of like-minded enthusiasts for the game of golf would be a great place to exchange some ideas. Sadly, I don't see where that's really the case. I've seen a few really good posts, but if I have to navigate all the self-serving, egotistical and demeaning posts to get to something of substance.....I just don't have that kind of time.

Re: Oh well....it was worth a try.
Interesting reply SandCC. So I went back to my last comment to you...
-----------------------------------
"Your current comfort in the hands are a manifestation of countering something that is wrong in your swing. The hands are the easiest thing to change and get immediate results.
You will never improve past your current level. You have to get back to basics and start from a good swing, then let the rest fall into place. Improvement will then have room."
------------------------------------
My comment "You will never improve..." was not at all meant as a statement to say that YOU actually will never improve. I was saying that if one only changes the grip to counter a swing flaw, that improvement is impossible past the swing flawed level.
So please accept my apologies for saying anything specific to you. I was speaking in general terms and that was all. I gave you advice in the first part of that post on how to actually help feel a proper grip through the swing. Having no idea at all what else your issues are, this was something simply to try.
The comment I made about the site being free, is that the site is free for anyone to use, public blogs...prepare for anything.
