  • Just joined, now to get rid of the slice!

Great site. I've just been through Greg J Willis's lessons on his site. They were very informative for irons and short game but wondering if there is something similar for driving off the tee with long irons, woods and drivers. I need to cure that evil deed - the slice off the tee with a driver.

Make sure the ball is insied your left heel assuming you are right handed. When you adress the ball, keep your club head square to the target and move your body more aimed to the right. It will seem like you are going to hit further right, but you should produce a straighter shot

      Hi wee eric,

It's probably an out-to-in swing at the root of the problem. The simplest advice I could give you would be to make sure you make a full shoulder turn on the backswing and then pull your right elbow in towords your right hip at the start of the downswing. That should put you on plane. It may take a while but this should help you over time.
