HI All
I'm a newbie to the board and fairly new to golf - I only started playing last year.
However I am in need of bucketloads of help! My OH and I are going on holiday in September - I have booked a round of golf here:

OH has a handicap and I do not. I need to have a handicap of 36 or less to play.
Having been to the driving range a host of times now, and then playing a full 18 on sunday I think i need some serious help. I went round a par 73 in a depressing 150 ish shots. Horrendous.
My chip shots and bunker shots are generally fine and I seem to put too much power in to my putting shots.
But I'm only playing with a 7 iron, and cannot for the life of me get a full swing without my ball going awry - trees, bushes, water it lands anywhere but the fairway. I can do half swings and get around 50-75 yards, but at the mo I'm not going to stand up to the Klassis course.
HELP HELP HELP - with 11 weeks to go - any suggestions, tips, or instructors in the Chingford / Waltham Abbey or Hertfordshire area would be fantastic.
Off to the driving range again on Friday so any new ideas very greatfully received. Many thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help
Nickie
