hi guys how do i stop hitting the ground before the ball please help the lancashire lad in australia

When I do this its because I'm trying too hard, hitting at the ball rather swinging through it, all at too fast a pace. Which means that I come in too steep and bingo.
If I go to the range and think about a slow, controlled 3/4 backswing and then smoothly completing to a follow through it helps.

You can also try moving the ball a little further back in the stance.Comment

thats the problem bein' a Lancashire lad livin' in Australia. It to do with the Northern and the Southern Hemisphere. I got round the problem easy because I only went as for as Germany.Originally posted by barrett
