Hi my name is cara. I live in Hawaii and I have been playing golf for about 1 1/2 years. I need people to play with. I am a women so I am a little intimidated to go play by myself. I am athletic so I can usually keep up with the guys. Any suggetions on finding people to play with?

If I lived in Hawaii, I'd play with you...I play with anyone as long as its golf..I'm sure somebody will play with you. -

Hi Cara, maybe you can make friends with other golfers at your club, or ask the golf pro to recommend someone at your handicap level. There are others who may be wishing for a playing partner, but too shy to ask!
If that does not work try playing at several courses where you can mix and mingle with other golfers.Comment

Also, look for the 'social' night at your club. It may be a good night to play. Also look into ladies night - same theory.Comment

Hi Cara,
Are you a member of any golf club (I haven't checked your profile)? If not, the first thing I suggest is, join one. Having said this, you'll become familiar with the membership and have more opportunities to play with them. If you can not join one, become more assertive. Most golfers are approachable.
In September I'm off to Hawaii for a girls week. We've been given leave passes from our husbands. We should hook up and have a hit.
