Update
Some of you may remember I asked for advice regarding a slice. I received much valuabe advice from you all. Added to that, I took a lesson from the local pro and the he immediately focused on the grip as many of you had suggested. I have been working on it during my rounds with friends (all better golfers than me !!!). Although it feels alien to me and I have visited parts of the course I have never seen before, i.e. the left side !!! Things are coming together now. More shots down the centre. I'm still not sure where each long iron/ wood shot will go but it is better than being sure it will slice !!! The best bit of advice I have been given is not to try and drive 300 yards!!! Ease back and give it 80%. The advice I received from you guys and the pro are ticking over in my head. It's great to have so much to work on and it's paying dividends.
