  • Hello from Wales - UK

    Hi All,

My name is Jeff and I'm 47 years old living in the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales in the UK.

I have newly taken up golf this year by taking advantage of an introductory offer at my local club - full membership and lessons for 3 months for £75 (pretty good I think)

The club pro Richard has his work cut out with me but he's very patient and I'm starting to see some improvement - now to get started reducing my first ever full 18 hole scorecard from 123.

    Cheers all

Aftford - thanks for the link that's a good site.

And Frosty - That's what I'm planning to try out when I play later on today.

                  Well - I'm back from my round - 118

I should be pleased but to be honest not much improvement - too many 9's and 10's

never mind there's always next time
