Been reading for awhile, finally posting so that little message telling me to post will go away. A lot of good people on here, I really enjoy learning from everyone. A little about me, 37 yrs old, played golf for about 10 years, tried to play golf well for the last 3. Some epiphanies regarding tempo and relaxed hands/arms this year has brought me from a 27 to 17 handicap, with much obvious room to improve upon that.

Re: Hello Everyone!
There were never questions you had? This is the real power of this forum to be able to ask! Unless you were one of the rare users that actually search first, read, then ask if you didn't find your answer. Good for you!
You can see how many times the same question is asked over and over because most are too lazy to search first.

Re: Hello Everyone!
Well for the first 7 years of my golfing life, I equate my "learning to swing a golf club" to dumping several puzzle boxes on the floor and trying to use those pieces to make a golf swing. (videos, occassional lesson, magazines, books, Golf Channel, etc. etc.)
Once I realized there are virtually an unlimited number of golf swings, I knew that I needed to use the puzzle pieces from just one box to make my golf swing good. So I picked a local pro and stuck with him. So again I just read on people problems and solutions to them. Not sure I could contribute.
Only thing I would have ever asked a question on was "hooded" but it was answered by someone else. Thanks for the welcome, I will try to be slightly more active on the boards.Last edited by Sprtsnut; 07-12-2006, 05:39 PM.
