agree, but it was back in the day, and alot of old swings are hard to find now adays.
http://www.golfswing.com/goodswings.htm
is another site which doesn't seem to be working now so i can't remeberber if it has him or not. i know it has bobby jones and jack nicklaus
hi lgskywalker
did you watch his right hand in that clip and how his left hand bows out as he starts his down swing, he does not seem to put a lot of power into it and that right hand is cupped right through the hitting zone, i know its not a good clip but you can see a lot of modern teaching in some of thinks he does just up to and through impact.
think that clip is back in early 70 as he still has a plaster over the tattoo on his right forarm with his first wifes name and he had till the late 70s
thank again for your help id you do ever come across a better clip, keep me in mind.
thanks again

hi lgskywalker
i tried copy him 25 yeaars ago and did quit well till a pro talked me into playing closed and hitting a draw, with i did for 17 years, did hit lot longer but not on fairway as much, damage to my back last year stopped me playing golf and i have tried to go back to my old style of being 40% open and hitting from inside to out. a bit like a push shot, i have that high fade back and am back playing again, i have tried hitting the odd draw but i feel pain in back so will stick with the open stance and keep playing, thats why i wants to break down his swing to try and copy him more, at moment i am using his book, golf my way. i once saw trevino at a demo day and he was taking bets that he could hit any of the 10 yardage barrels up to 170yds out on the range with ANY club if he had 5 shots at it. and he took a lot of money that day lol.
thanks again

here is a clip of pipeling moe he is old, but seems that he has a very flat swing maybe a bit like trevino. i have never seen such a strait arm/club angle ever.
hi lgshywalker
thanks yes he does look to have the same sort of swing as trevino and both are said to be the best strikers of the ball ever. moe could not take all the suporter's and everything that went with winning, once when he won he went at hid till after the presentation so he did not have to walk up and be presentated with the win after the game. moe is said to have lost a few time so he would not have to walk up and pick you the trophy. it stopped him playing in the end.

i was reading in a golf magazine how having a flatter swing can be better for your body as you get older and that is one of the reasons tiger has switched to a much flater swing as he goes into his 30's and i read that nicklaus got a bit flatter as he got elder as well. but since i am just starting out at golf i think i might try to change my swing into a bit flatter now and stay with it instead of mastering my swing and having to cvhange it in a few years or injure myself.
