  • Love some feedback on Television Pilot

I am a 50 year old social golfer that some how has got involved with with making a golfing television show.
I think it is different from any thing else I've seen and I think our coach Andrew Mowatt is going to ba a top rater.

I hope I am not being to forward for a first post, but would love some general feedback on our golf coaches skills.Go to this link to view lessons and pilot for our new television show.

Andy is very personable! Has a perfect approach to teaching, and every student seen there is comfortable with his mannor.

The camara likes him. He is always smiling and energetic. You should have an easy time with this pilot. Just let him go and do what he likes.

just watched it, he is great, more teachers should be like him,you got to alter your teaching methods to each and every golfer you work with and he does an excellent job of that, hope the show is a great success, just hope us here in the usa can see it some time. congrats on you fame.

          Hi there,

Just watched the lesson with Michael, I really like this guy he has a great approach to teaching and clearly very professional in his method,
I got from the clip that Michael already has a great "committed" swing into impact and there isn't a great lot that anyone could teach him so instead of changing something for somethings sake he simply helped him stand a little more athletic and confident in his approach.

          A true professional.

Pity I'm in the UK, I would like to have a lesson with this guy.

          Regards

          Ian.

            Hi down there,

I've also Just watched the lesson with Michael, this guy is great. Maybe we should get together and get this guy a plane ticket to Europe. His approach to teaching is the best I've seen. I like the way he brings the pupil into the lesson, asking him questions.

            I like it.

            All the best,
            Ian

You should send your emails through to me as Andrew hopes to be in England for 2 weeks next May.My favourite lesson is the Glen lesson.Glen spent 12 years hoping to get good enough to become a golf coach.I bet him $5 one lesson with Andrew would put him back on track which he happily payed. He has since been itching for more lessons but I have told him he has to wait until November when we will film a series of 10 lessons over 10 weeks. His first game out and he hit his first 80.

Re: Love some feedback on Television Pilot

Nice pilot and Andrew seems right at home. A show I'd watch if I could.

The scotsman, though...not very funny, at least for an adult. I'd rather see an energetic (but not silly) rules and regulations guy/girl that with enthusiasm describes rules and etiquette.

Imagine Richard Attenborough explaining the rules for lateral water hazard or why you should replace your divots and you know what I mean

                  hi maryanne
have to agree wiyh peter the scotsman's antics are slightly irritating!
the rest of the show is great!
andrews approach and enthusiam really puts the students at ease the programme has something for everyone.
i would definately watch it if it was aired in the uk

Re: Love some feedback on Television Pilot

We put more of the scotsman in the pilot than we would use as because of weather we never got a chance to film the 9 holes of golf.If we use him it will only be occaionally to highlite a rule.Appreciate the feedback.

Was having a pun at Andrew backfired as i explained by not logging off after teaching him to find his way around this great site.Have posted a pic I have or Andrew from our new website.Hope it shows as not too good as this pic business.
The pun was how many good looking fella's (Aussie Slang) on this web site some even look like movie stars maybe you will be up their one day I said to Mr Mowatt (my no one talent), but the whole team is great .Was trying to get the Master involved so that he could test his skills so to speak, I have to make sure he can keep up with all the American's & Englishman , and the type of responses he will get before i launch him out there on his own.
Preparation for any game is what makes life, sport & pleasure so much fun. Thanks Al your a star. lol

really enjoyed it, appears to be excellent teacher. The only thing similar I remember watching was a show called "How low can you go" on the Golfchannel.
