  • Newbie from Sweden

    Hi!
Just signed up. Coming to you from the south of Sweden. Not the season for golf right now, but I try to go to a driving range twice a week and work on my swing. Hav changed my grip a little and seems to help me stay more square thru impact.
Looking forward to browse a lot of postings.

Do you ever try indoor golf simulators? They're not perfect but getting better ll the time. I assume your weather is similar to ours in Canada? It's a long wait for May.

I have, kind of expensive and not a big fan. I like to watch ball flight to figure out what is going on in my swing, and you're right weather is pretty much same, closeness to water make spring arrive a little earlier than May though.

Close to me then. I live in Malmö . I mostly play at my home club Vellinge GK. Where do you play? Have you played Sjöbo? I hear it is a great course.

Seems to be a lot of knowledge threading around here.

Yep, play it frequently in the off-season. Keeps exceptionally dry, but might be too hot during the summer. If you enjoy 400 yard drive you should visit in the middle of July, the ball never stops running.

I completely understand how time spent in Hallstavik or Skövde would be considered mis-spent :-)
