yah iv'e tried it recently and have had more success and feel. I think it helps deaden my right arm, because I am so much stronger on my right side.

Cross handed chipping is not a bad stroke to try out. For some it will work out better for them than the conventional chipping stroke.

As for the 10 finger grip, I have used it a few times. It works, and again for some individuals it could be the right grip for them to use for chips, and even pitch shots. I read some where Butch Harmon while he was Tiger's swing guru made mention that Tiger himself used the 10 finger grip for more control on some shots. Not sure if he still does, as that information is now a few years old.

The bottom line is to get the ball in the hole in the least amount of swings, and/or strokes. Unorthodoxed or not makes little difference as long it helps a golfer to mark lower scores on their card. Your playing parteners may have a text book golf game, but at the end of the round, if you are a few strokes lower, that's all that really matters. GJS
