    learning golf

    My Name is Allen,i am a shoemaker by trade and just about to retire
    I started to learn Golf about a year ago and now i i am really trying to get to grips with it, so any help will be greatly received

    how are you getting on after a year golfing. the thing to remember is golf is ment to be fun and that means relaxing and not trying to hit the ball to hard, i think it the number one mistake people make. trying to hit the ball to hard makes you swing faster and knocks your timing all off, swing at about 80/90% and you will find the games easy to play and more relaxing and you will find you hit the ball better more often too.

        I am very similar to you and my approach has just this minute been to order 3 skills golf. It is only about the price of a good lesson or 2 and has good reviews. Will post on the site if I get any improvement.
