Hi fellow clubmakers and fitters. I've been a club builder for my personal clubs and for a few friends of mine for about 10 years. Pretty much a cut and glue, but have always static fitted and swingweighted my clubs, with good sucess. Since i have retired I have been doing a lot of online studing. And considering attending one of the Schools for club builders and fitters. I almost have a completed shop all I need now is a frequency meter and a head puller and i should be set.........Thats my story.

    Welcome to the boards!

Might I suggest the Club Scout 2 to get started (unless you really want to do torque readings; not a bad idea - then go CS3). www.csfa.com

And for your puller, JB's Hydraulic puller is the way to go, hands down. I went with the pro model as I liked the better clamp and pretensioner bolt, but lots of folks use the Jr. model without complaint.

Welcome to the rabbit hole... the deeper it goes, the more you start to realise there's a lot of things to know...
