It was a blast getting out and putting in such a good 1/2 round (for me anyway). A mortician couldn't have wiped the smile off my face.

Congrats on the PB...
I'm with Robin, with the ball bouncing, shoot short of your targets. Worse case, if the ball stops, will be a chip from just short in front and if it bounds forward, it's all good to go...

Jealous to hear about the temperatures and the fact that balls bounce where you are - its been so wet here that where the ball lands the ball stays.
Well done with the round, put two of those together with better green holding and the low nineties will be there for sure.

I had a lesson earlier this month and it has done wonders for me so far. I went out yesterday (22 degrees by the way) and played 9 holes. I shot a personal best of 49. My average for 9 holes is 55-56. I think I would have done much better in normal weather. Every time I hit the green from any distance...

Latest additions to the bag
Santa was good. I got a Taylormade Burner, 9.5°, stiff flex; a Taylormade Mezza Monza putter; and tonight I just picked up a Ping Tour-W 56°/10 wedge that is sweet. I need to get to the range/course and try out my new toys.

I shot a typical round Saturday (111), but I had my personal best for 9 on the front 9 (50). This gives me encouragement. Driver was way off. Irons were working pretty well.

Went to the range last night (40 degrees and flurries, thank goodness for heated tees).
Driver was dead on. A little lacking in distance (I'm sure temperature had something to do with it), but it was arrow straight.
Iron distance and height were good, but I'm hitting a little...
