For others, who haven't got the book, it's quite reasonable to ask for more detail on the method and, I suppose, even to question the principles if they wish. From my perspective, I like the book. It's not the Holy Grail of golf but it makes a genuine contribution and is a refreshing change from the endless instruction tips which centre upon magical hip moves, elbows, ankles, knees and everything else.

More generally, anything should be up for discussion here and people should be allowed to express their views however they wish (within the confines of sensible behaviour). Why the implied attempts to shut certain people up or censor their views? If you don't like them, don't read them.

Greg its probably best to close this thread and keep the other i have started for people to discuss their experiences, ask advice and the pros & cons. That way anyone who has other ulterior motives need not go into the other thread.
    What you think??
    Cheers Keith

Get off your high horse dude and read my posts properly, discussion advice opinion all ok. Slagging it off as well as the peeps saying how good it is, is not. I am all up for discussion but not senseless "it wont work it,it wont work, it wont work" sounding like a child trying to get his xbox to play.
I have stated several times my comments are meant for 1 or 2 peeps only.

Seems I have stirred up a hornets nest
Peace to those who are innocent in this

Why ? does it possibly affect there profession? or a friends ? I dont know but a discussion is a 2 way conversation about PRO's and CON's and those who need and are asking for help, but not the way this thread has headed, with people chipping in every now and then saying its shit, it dont work you need lessons, maybe not used those exact words but if you read this thread from start to finish as I did to catch up (been away) then you can see my point.

Not quite sure what you meant dude.
I meant that you are not in the "so called firing line" your posts seem to tell me you are enjoying and improving at the same time, I was just reiterating that.
Robin is i think on the fence and requires more knowledge and understanding, as for some others well their opinion is theirs and once given is enough. As for somebody being a prophet etc etc etc
You know the peeps I am aiming at ????
    Cheers

I have no problem with anyone who whats to know more about the 3skills, or who just has a general interest in the technics etc.

Brian made a good comment that sound fundimentals are needed to start with..................I agree whole hearted you must.

I wrote this on a previous page:

I have just returned from the British Masters, I followed the winner Westwood, Monty, Sterne, Poulter and many more:

    1) I pre-shot the same
    2) I set-up the same
    3) I use the same equipment
    4) I swing on the similar plane
    5) My ball position is the same
    6) I use the same balls
    7) I look stronger than a few, some are tall, some are short, fat and thin also..!!!

So I ask myself what is different It is there ball striking, it is so much more solid and powerfull.......?????

How is this achieved I ask myself...................3skills springs to mind.

I have to say this is as close to reality as you get,

    Ian.

P.S Robin I have not found any of your comments offensive at all.
    good post ian
i suppose because i worked hard on my fundamentals prior to seeing 3skills thats why i have had some instant success with it.
perhaps i should have titled the thread " i already have good fundamentals and nailed it with 3skills"

    hi again Keith
you said, (if its not working for you then whats to discuss?)
if its not working for you then why not discuss it at you might be doing it wrong and someone could put you right or you might have the wrong interpretations the instructions and someone here can put your right. lets allow an open view on all mater on this forum and help everyone not just them that we agree with.

Did I say you couldnt comment? If its not for you, I said comment and thats it! why would you want to say more? again and again but the others who it is for, are discussing how's why for's and ifs n buts.
This is a thread about the 3skills if you dont like or it doesnt work for you then whats to discuss? give an opinion then leave it, unless you want more info or tips etc on how to make it work.
My comments again are not aimed at the people who are asking questions or giving reasons or are generally interested. But there are one or two that seem intent on rubbishing what they have not seen, tried or even researched.
    My opinion

I had the weird idea that this was a discussion forum. Maybe it was the little "Our golf forum has 59,714 discussions" at the top of the page that gave me that idea. So it seems to me that things such as whether it's good for beginners, or whether it works for me or anyone else are things that we might want to discuss.

In fact, we have been discussing them. I imagine we'll continue.

Thanks peeps if it offends then look in the mirror and ask yourself why.
No mirror needed. I think the answer is that we didn't need or ask for instructions about how to discuss the three skills.
