    Re: Normans Secret

I will put out a video soon on the use of the secret...hopefully this can answer yours and other's questions.

But to describe it...you relax the right elbow and arm. Let it fold into your chest a bit. Allow the palm of your right hand's grip to be more on top of the grip. That action alone will get your right wrist cupped. Does it cup it to the maximum required for the secret strapped on at it's full tightness? May not. You can adjust the finger strap to let your grip resemble something close to reality. I have been able to get it very close to a full tightness level, but early on in my trials I had it quite loose and it did the trick just fine. Over time I was able to adjust it a bit tighter...kind of like braces for your teeth. To start, you don't want to force your teeth to their perfect position, you will die from pain. Get there in small increments and you will tollerate the slight adjustments with better results.

      Re: Normans Secret

Hi Greg - thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate it. Out of all the research I've done, this tip and your web page etc offer some of the best advice. I'm still no sure that I'm doing it right, so further video's would help. Saying that though, I bought one of the greg norman secrets on uk ebay a while back and then this weekend kept in mind the hammer up hammer down thing. On a few shots something good was happening, like you say, you can hear a crisper note.

Looking forward to further advice. My main thing is not knowing how to hold the club correctly in the hands with this new grip.
      cheers, Jon
