Re: Building 1st clubs
I met some people that owned and managed a golf discount store about 15 years ago. These guys taught me most everything a person needs to know about golf club repair. I am so comfortable in shaft replacement, regripping and even simple alterations on clubheads now. It does not matter if the shaft is steel or graphite or the club is blind bore or bore through as I have reshafted both. I do not make clubs for other people as I do not want to be responsible for the failure of the club.
I have reshafted my driver and 3 wood after locating the spine of the graphite shafts. I now have very reliable woods. I now find my golf rework as fun as playing golf.
Best of luck in your new found hobby, LowPost.
