i would agree that Moe does have his shoulders almost square and he is a good example of that style of swinging but i would add that Moe's swing is also one that not a platform for the masses like Trevino but that don't mean you can't learn from it. like how Moe keeps the body quiet till impact and then turns the hips.
one of the things that did fail Moe was his game under pressure. he hated crowds and people following him round the course. handling pressure and the the photographers and media was something that Moe could not handle and he tried to shy away from it and it is said he lost games so he did not have to meet the press.
i would put Hogan as the best striker of the ball with Trevino seconds and you can check with fairways hit and GIRs both did it world wide. sadly Moe did not play in that many tour game and a lot of the data is not available from him as it is for other players of that time.
he was a wonderful striker of the ball but did not get to use it in winning that many tournaments other than in Canada.

I feel I have to comment:

There was nothing wrong with Moe's golf swing under pressure or not, Moe had a dyslexia problem that made him eccentric and it difficult for him to fit in with the social expectations of the tour.

His swing is still taught and practiced by thousands worldwide and pioneered the more recent one plane swing theories and gurus.

He held many course records and shot under sixty on many of them, he hit an incredible number of holes in one.

His swing conformed perfectly to the 3 skills system through impact so was not IMO quirky at all.

i was not trying to put the man down in any way, i think he had 17 holes in one, he was a great golfer but he did not like playing on the Us tour and played more of his golf in Canada.
his family always denied he had anything wrong with him after a number of reports in the US press made him out to all sorts of thing i wont repeat here.
i think if he could of handled the large crowd's then he would of won lots more. it was never his golf that let him down it was his fear of the press that hounded him on the golf course.
i like Moe's swing and i have nothing negative to say about it at all.
i think you have picked me up the wrong way.

sometime i don't put what I'm thinking that well into words and can be misunderstood.
what i was trying to say was the Moe does fit into what you were saying and does have almost square shoulders at impact and if he could of handled the people and press then we would of heard a lot more of the great man.
it was more his inability to handle people and not his golf that let him down on the US tour.
