I found one way of separating the two actions, that is rolling the arms while the hands/wrist remain in place. Stand up, put your arm out straight your and your hand flat on a wall. You can then supinate and pronate the arm without the hands/wrist moving. Isn't this going to be really tricky coordinating this in a swing though? Surely this is a very difficult move. When learning this move, surely you had some ugly pulls when early and ugly slices when late. I would say the former moreso than the latter.
