Re: Immediate cure for coming over the top
James - the title of the book is the fundamentals of hogan by david leadbetter - you can find it on amazon. It was a really interesting and enjoyable read - showed what a great golfer Hogan was but also why you should be very careful copying him.
Bazet - his swing is beautiful to watch and he was some athlete. As above i would say try and get a read of the book as it will help you if you are trying to convert to a flatter swing and mentions some of the pitfalls in copying Hogan's technique. I have read that link you sent before and i really like the right knee thoughts - something i really work on in my swing.
As to 1 plane and 2 plane - i have read that book as well (harding?). I don't really like the ideas in it but from what i can remember a lot of differences in the swings were as a result of an address change (ie more bent over leads to more one plane). If you are having problems going to 1 plane maybe adress is where you need to start?
cheers
