Looking at some of the posts on here it seems that not only am I not alone in having a "hands and arms" dominated swing but also that there are solutions to the problem. Reassuring in two ways
Since I posted about my horror round a few weeks ago I've been working on "feeling the shoulder turn" (thanks PNEARN) and have begun to get the sense of "shoulder turn leading to hip turn" (thanks SPANKIT) and I can already see how, with work, this will lead to more consistency.
What I don't have is any real feel is what happens with the back leg - I think that while my front hip turns (even if not enough yet) my back leg is a bit like a concrete post!
So, any thoughts on flex and turn? And / or can you point me in the direction of swing videos that illustrate various pros? (I know these links have been posted before but I didn't save them - sorry!)
Thanks in advance
Robin
